Dura-Bar has remained the world leader in producing continuous cast iron bars due in large measure to a philosophy that "customer service begins before the product is sold." The company has a staff of metallurgists, technical support personnel, manufacturing engineers, sales engineers and inside sales representatives who are active, integral members of the Dura-Bar service team that participate in anticipating customer needs before the product is sold.
A Team Effort
Our inside sales group is the front line in assisting the customer. They can quickly process inquiries and competently handle many questions about Dura-Bar and our capabilities. Feel free to give them a call or contact us by e-mail.
When projects require additional technical support or new applications, the full team is ready to help. Each customer is assigned a sales engineer who acts as "Project Manager", guiding and coordinating the customer's order from start to finish. This person becomes the important informational conduit between Dura-Bar and its customer.
The Project Manager initiates an Application Meeting to thoroughly review the basis of the quotation, the process steps necessary to reliably produce the product, delivery timeliness and the necessary production materials and processes.
The purpose of the Application Meeting is to ensure that all team members are informed and in agreement on how to best meet the customer's needs. Potential problems are identified during this process before they occur.
At Dura-Bar customer service is a continuous team process, both before and after the sale.
